EMS Week Pizza Party

In honor of National EMS Week (May 17 – 23), Elk & Elk sent pizzas, salads and beverages to every fire station – 61 total – in Cleveland and Columbus.

We supported local businesses in doing so, including Pizza 216, Congin’s, Vincenza’s, Carmino’s, Brothers, Jack Spratt’s, Ange’s, OH Pizza and Brew, Adriatico’s, Dawghouse Pizza and Bar, Luna’s and Massey’s.

tweeted, “A big THANK YOU to the Law Firm @elkandelk for generously donating delicious pizza, salad and beverages to ALL #CLEFIRE Stations this week! Thanks also to all the restaurants and food delivery workers who have given the home “chefs” a needed break!

Lieutenant James Kesser of Columbus Fire Station 25 said, “I want to thank Elk & Elk for honoring Columbus Fire’s EMS workers during National EMS Week by delivering pizzas, salads and beverages to the firehouses.  It’s a good feeling knowing that those in the community appreciate the EMS system and frontline workers, especially during this national healthcare crisis we are experiencing.”

EMS Week brings together local communities and medical personnel to honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine’s “front line.”
