Community Involvement: Supporting the Hardworking People of Ohio

Community Involvement: Supporting the Hardworking People of Ohio

At Elk + Elk, we believe that being a successful law firm means being an active, helpful neighbor in the communities where we live and work. Ohio has always been good to us, and for 50+ years, we have made it our mission to give back in every way possible. Whether it’s a local food drive, a charity run, or a high school program designed to keep our teens safe, we believe that no donation of time or money is too small to make a difference.

We don’t just write checks; we show up. We are proud to support deserving charities and organizations through financial contributions, volunteer hours, and by providing advertising space to help our community partners get their message out. We hope to inspire others to help in their own neighborhoods, creating a ripple effect of kindness across the state.

See how Elk + Elk supports Ohio communities through long term partnerships and hands-on involvement.

Featured Community Partnerships

Our team works year-round to support several anchor organizations that provide vital services to Ohioans. These long term partnerships allow us to address critical issues like food insecurity, youth safety, and medical research.

Blocking Hunger with the Cleveland Browns

One of our flagship community initiatives is the Elk + Elf program and our “Block Hunger” partnership with the Cleveland Browns. For every point the Browns score and every “pancake block” made on the field, we make significant donations to local organizations like the St. Augustine Hunger Center. This program turns the excitement of the football season into real-world relief for families who are struggling to put food on the table.

Keeping Our Youth Safe: None 4 Under 21

For over 20 years, Elk + Elk has been a lead sponsor of the None 4 Under 21 program. Every spring, near prom and graduation season, we help bring thousands of high school seniors to events that demonstrate the consequences of impaired and distracted driving.

Our managing partners often emcee these events because we see the “monster” consequences of bad choices every day in our legal work. We believe that by reaching teens before they get behind the wheel, we can prevent the tragedies that devastate families.

Feeding Cleveland: St. Augustine Hunger Center

For nearly two decades, we have partnered with the St. Augustine Hunger Center in Tremont. Every Thanksgiving, members of the Elk + Elk family load up trucks full of hundreds of turkeys and head to the center to help stock the pantry. We know that in Cleveland, food insecurity is a serious issue, with the center serving over 116,000 meals annually. Our goal is to ensure that every neighbor can enjoy a warm meal and a sense of dignity during the holidays and throughout the year.
