This week’s employee spotlight features Josie Matias, a receptionist in our Cleveland office. She’s been with Elk & Elk since January 2008.
Tell us about your role at Elk & Elk.
I am a receptionist for the firm. I answer phones, meet and greet clients and direct visitors to their destinations.
What was the first job you ever had?
I worked at a party supply store.
How do you spend your weekends?
I visit family and friends with my husband Paul and attend church services.
What is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
St. Augustine, Florida. I love the history, beautiful architecture and ocean.
What is your favorite spot in Northeast Ohio?
I enjoy going to The Grove Ampitheatre in beautiful Mayfield Village. It has live music all summer.
