Take Elk & Elk’s Parent-Teen Pledge

With prom and graduation just around the corner, spring is an exciting season for many high school students. However, the months of April, May and June are also some of the most dangerous times of the year for teen drivers.

Elk & Elk Parent-Teen Pledge

Each April, Elk & Elk joins Portage County Safe Communities in presenting None 4 Under 21 and Choices Beyond to remind teens of the effects of impaired driving, and empower them to make safe decisions. Programs like None 4 Under 21 raise awareness about the dangers of impaired and distracted driving, but parents also need to reinforce the importance of these messages to the teen drivers in their home.

Discussing the consequences of impaired driving with your teen driver can be difficult, but it is a step you must take to help ensure the safety of your family and others on the road.
