Get to Know William Campbell, Attorney at Elk + Elk

William (Bill) Campbell has been an attorney with Elk + Elk since 2010. Bill is originally from the wild and wonderful Wheeling, West Virginia. When he isn’t assisting clients, he can be found jogging or riding his bike throughout Cuyahoga Valley National Park!

How long have you practiced at Elk + Elk?

I have been a personal injury, nursing home malpractice, and medical malpractice attorney at Elk + Elk for almost 13 years.

What do you like best about working at Elk + Elk?

My favorite thing about working at Elk + Elk would be working alongside my longtime friend and paralegal, Elizabeth!

What motivates you to work hard?

My biggest motivator for working hard would be the bills generated by my two teenage daughters!

Any advice for aspiring attorneys?

My advice would be to find an area of law you enjoy and are passionate about. This will encourage you to absorb and learn more to be successful in your field.

What was your first job?

My first job was as a transporter at Wheeling Hospital.

Who are your mentors in the legal field and outside?

In the legal field, my mentor is Bob Fitzsimmons, an attorney from my hometown. Outside of the legal field, my biggest mentor is my dad.

What is your favorite restaurant in Northeast Ohio?

My favorite restaurant would be LockKeepers in Valley View.

Do you have any pets?

I have two dogs, Axel and Buttercup, and a bearded dragon named Lenny!

What is the best concert you’ve been to?

The best concert I’ve been to was Van Halen in 1991 at Star Lake Pavilion.

Fun Fact:

I met my wife Becky and our dog Axel while working on an Elk + Elk case!
