15th Annual Milestones Autism Spectrum Disorder Conference

Elk & Elk is proud to once again sponsor the Milestones Autism Spectrum Disorder Conference at Cleveland’s I-X Center June 15 – 16. The annual event offers parents, professionals, and individuals affected by autism in Northeast Ohio opportunities to learn practical strategies, earn continuing education and network with experts in the field.

The annual Milestones Autism Spectrum Disorder Conference caters to individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and professions. To help conference-goers get the most out of the sessions and workshops, Milestones offers specially designed tracks for individuals with autism, parents and family members, caregivers, medical and legal professionals, educators and a variety of other audiences.

Registration

Registration is $50 for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and full-time students. Rates for family members and professionals range from $135-$250 for one day to $160-$350 for both. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available.

2017 Kick-Off Event: A Special Evening with Temple Grandin
A Special Evening with Temple Grandin will kick-off this year’s conference on Wednesday, June 14, at Playhouse Square. Dr. Temple Grandin is a world-renowned autism advocate, author and professor of animal science. Any community member may purchase tickets to the event, and conference attendees receive a discounted rate.

  • Bridget Taylor, PsyD, BCBA-D: Co-Founder & Executive Director of the Alpine Learning Group, Senior Clinical Advisor for Rethink
  • Fred Volkmar, MD: Irving B. Harris Professor of Child Pediatrics & Psychology, Yale University Child Study Center, School of Medicine
