Relay for Life 2015
UPDATE: Elk & Elk’s team, Relay’s Angels, raised over $4,200 for the cause and earned the Top Fundraising Team Award.

Elk & Elk is proud to be a sponsor of Relay for Life of Hillcrest on Saturday, June 20. The event, to fight back against cancer, will be held at Mayfield High School Wildcat Stadium from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.
The theme this year is Carnival for a Cure and will will play our way though this 12 hour event to raise funds to help find a cure by celebrating survivors, remembering loved ones lost and fighting back to put an end to this disease so that our children never have to hear the words "you have cancer".

Survivor Brunch: 10:00am
In honor of your battle against cancer, the American Cancer Society would like to extend a special invitation to you to participate in your local Relay For Life event! Please join us to be a part of the Survivor Reception Meal along with the Relay For Life Opening Ceremonies.
Opening Ceremony: 12:00pm
The Opening Ceremony brings everyone together for a high-energy event kickoff to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, to inspire hope by sharing recent accomplishments and progress, and to remind everyone that while we are winning this battle, fighting cancer is a year-round priority.
Survivors Lap: 12:30pm
During the Survivors Lap, upbeat music plays as all cancer survivors at the event take the first lap around the track cheered on by the other participants who line the track, celebrating their victory over cancer.
Caregivers Lap: Immediately Following Survivor Lap
During the Caregivers Lap, anyone who ever cared for someone with cancer walks a lap so they can be honored for their support. Caregivers walk this lap with the people they helped if they are also present at the event.
Luminaria Ceremony: 8:30 pm
The Luminaria Ceremony is a time to remember people we have lost to cancer, to support people who currently have cancer, and to honor people who have fought cancer in the past. The power of this ceremony lies in providing an opportunity for people to work through grief and find hope. Please visit the donation page to purchase your luminaria.
Closing Ceremony: 11:30pm
The Closing Ceremony is a time to remember the lives of those lost and to celebrate that each of us has committed, through our participation in a Relay event, to fight back against this disease over the next year.
