A Most Excellent Race 2015

Elk & Elk is proud to be a sponsor of A Most Excellent Race on Sunday, June 28. The event, benefiting the Achievement Centers for Children Camp Cheerful, will be held at Beaumont School. The event features a 10K run, 5K run, 5K walk and the inspiring Camp Cheerful Classic, a 100-yard sprint by the children who attend camp. Registration opens at 7:30AM with the Race beginning at 9AM.

About the Achievement Centers for Children

A Cleveland, Ohio based non-profit organization that provides support, services, and programs that help children with a wide range of physical, emotional, neurological, or developmental disabilities achieve their full potential in life. Comprehensive services to children with disabilities and their families are provided through education and autism services, therapy and Intensive Therapy Clinic, family support, recreation and adapted sports. Charitable donations help to provide many critical services for families, regardless of their ability to pay.

In 2015, the Achievement Centers for Children is celebrating 75 years of enabling and empowering children with disabilities and their families to grow, learn, play and prepare for lifelong achievement in society. Proceeds from A Most Excellent Race benefit the Achievement Centers for Children Camp Cheerful. Since its inception in 1990, over 14,000 individuals have participated in A Most Excellent Race, with many attending the Race year after year. Most importantly, the Race has generated over $1,500,000 in funds, providing underwriting and support for the Achievement Centers for Children Camp Cheerful, located in Strongsville, Ohio.
