Support St. Augustine Hunger Center This Thanksgiving
This year marks our 21st year supporting the St. Augustine Hunger Center as they prepare and distribute thousands of meals to families across Northeast Ohio. Demand for food assistance is higher than usual this season, and St. Augustine is working hard to keep up.
You can help by making a quick drive-through food drop on Wednesday, November 26, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
There is no need to leave your car. Volunteers will collect items directly from your trunk or back seat.

What to Bring
Non-perishable food items such as:
- canned vegetables
- canned fruit
- boxed potatoes
- stuffing mix
- gravy
- pasta or rice
- peanut butter
- canned soup or chili
- shelf-stable milk
- cereal
All donated items help St. Augustine stock the pantry for the holiday season and support families across the Diocese of Cleveland.
If You Need Food or a Meal
St. Augustine Hunger Center offers Community Hot Meals every day of the week, including weekends.
All are welcome, and there is no cost.
Meal Schedule
Monday–Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Lunch: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Dinner: 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

St. Augustine Parish also provides support for individuals and families in need, including:
- food and clothing
- emergency assistance for rent and utilities
- furniture and appliances
- advocacy for medical needs

Catholic Charities provides free Thanksgiving meals each year for individuals and families.
In-Person Meals
Available November 27, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Home Delivered Meals
Community members can request free home-delivered Thanksgiving meals by calling 216-377-3725.
Information needed: name, phone number, address, and number of meals requested.
Registration will close once 12,000 meals are requested or by noon on Monday, November 24.
Meals will be delivered on Thursday, November 27, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Thanksgiving Fill the Pantry
St. Augustine Hunger Center will accept drive-through donations on
Wednesday, November 26, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
All donations support neighbors in need through Catholic Charities’ food shelves and pantries across the eight counties of the Diocese of Cleveland.
Consider collecting goods with colleagues, friends, or neighbors to keep the pantry stocked through the holidays.
