Client Testimonial: James Armbrust

Jim’s Story

Jim was a happy family man who owned his own trucking company when a bundle of steel tubing rolled off a trailer onto him, crushing his legs. His right leg was broken in five places and his ankle was crushed.

Despite 16 surgeries, doctors had to amputate his left leg. Jim found himself unable to provide for his wife and small son. He recalls, “I didn’t know what to do or which way to go. My life kind of got in a shamble.”

“Once I got my settlement, I was able to put the pieces back together”

What would you like people to know about Elk & Elk?

They’re wonderful, just wonderful. They’re hands-on. Gary Cowan, if I’d call and talk to him, he’d be talking to me like my brother would. He’s just that kind of guy. He’s very personable. And my paralegal, Maria Ferguson, she was on top of every aspect of what happened.

How have things changed since you hired Elk & Elk?

It changed things a lot, because it gave me the ability to start over again. I was living from day to day. Once I got my settlement, I was able to put the pieces together.

Would you recommend Elk & Elk?

I think Elk & Elk are wonderful people and I would recommend them to anybody that needed their help because they know what they’re doing.
