Are the lawyers in the Elk & Elk commercials brothers?

Although they are sometimes mistaken for father and son, Dave and Art Elk are, in fact, brothers! Separated by nine years, the siblings were born and raised in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio.

Dave received his B.A. and law degree from Case Western Reserve University and began his professional career with a leading firm before starting his own practice. Art followed in his older brother’s footsteps at CWRU for his undergraduate work and went on to attend Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. The pair teamed up in the 1980s and have been fighting for injured Ohioans ever since.

When it comes to getting the word out, the brothers have embraced all things media. Their advertisements can be seen and heard on TV, radio and, of course, online.
