Ford recalls nearly half a million cars

Ford Motor Company announced they are recalling 465,000 of its current model year cars due to a fuel leak that could lead to a fire. The company said the fuel delivery module leak poses a fire risk in the following 2013 models:
FORD: Explorer, Taurus, Flex, Fusion, and the Interceptor Utility
LINCOLN: MKS, MKT, and MKZ
Reuters reports, “The automaker said it won’t have enough replacement parts for all owners until September.” The recall primarily involves vehicles sold in the United States, Canada and Mexico — although around 40,000 had been shipped overseas.
A previous fuel-line-leak recall affected the 2013 Ford Escape and encouraged drivers to get them repaired before driving them again. This recall has no such warning.
To find out whether specific vehicles fall under the recall, drivers can enter the Vehicle Identification Number on the Ford website.
