About Chagrin Documentary Film Festival:

Chagrin Documentary Film Festival is dedicated to filmmaker and Chagrin Falls High School alumnus David Ponce. Ponce and his film production company, Fevered Dreams Productions, told the story of Sparrow Village, a South African AIDS orphanage, in their award-winning documentary “The Lost Sparrows of Roodepoort.”

Unfortunately, Ponce was diagnosed with leukemia and lost his battle with the disease in 2006. Fevered Dreams Productions honors him today by supporting the work of talented filmmakers through events like the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival.
