William J. Price named Vice Chair of Akron Bar Association CLE Committee

In an effort to better serve its current members and attract new legal professionals, the Akron Bar Association's board of trustees recently approved the creation of a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Committee. The group is tasked with developing more relevant and applicable continuing legal education programming, and expects to begin meeting by the start of the new year.

Elk & Elk attorney William J. Price was named Vice Chair of the CLE Committee, and Blake Gerney of Day Ketterer will serve as Committee Chair. They will collaborate with the ABA's director of legal professional development and seek suggestions from practicing attorneys to determine which types of content, courses, topics and speakers would be most beneficial.

"CLE programming has a habit of getting put on the back burner and we want to lay the foundation for a new structure that generates relevant programming for years to come," said Price in an interview with Akron Legal News.

Price has been an active member of the Akron Bar Association since 1999. As a trial attorney at Elk & Elk, his practice focuses on personal injury litigation in the areas of medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, defective products, negligence in construction sites and trucking and auto accidents. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers, Martindale-Hubbell and AVVO, and is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
