Making the Holidays Special – Toys for Tots

Ohio law firm sponsors Toys for Tots

Elk & Elk is pleased to announce this year’s partnership with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Once again, we will be collecting toys at our corporate headquarters, located at 6105 Parkland Boulevard, Suite 200 in Mayfield Heights, Ohio to help children in need.

"Involvement in our local communities has always been important to us," says Arthur Elk, Managing Partner of Elk & Elk. "No child should wake up Christmas morning without a present under the tree."

Toys for Tots collects and distributes new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in local neighborhoods. Local Toys for Tots Campaign Coordinators conduct an array of activities throughout the year, which include golf tournaments, foot races, bicycle races and other volunteer events.

Toys for Tots Literacy Program

Children are one of our nation’s most valuable resources, but according to the National Center for Children in Poverty, over 16 million children live in poverty. The Toys for Tots Literacy Program offers our nation’s most economically disadvantaged children the ability to compete academically and to succeed in life by providing them direct access to resources that will enhance their ability to read and to communicate effectively.
