Gary Cowan joined Elk & Elk Associates Co., LPA in 2000 as a trial attorney and litigator. He has been involved in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation since 1988, and has been lead trial counsel in over 60 jury trials throughout the State of Ohio.

Gary Cowan has successfully been involved in high profile medical malpractice cases that have been televised and reported on Court TV and A Current Affair, as well as cases covered by local television stations and newspapers. His practice and emphasis is on serious personal injury claims, motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death and medical malpractice law.

Gary Cowan graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1987, with a Juris Doctor Degree. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors from the University of Ottawa (1981) and a Masters Degree in Health Administration from the University of Ottawa (1983). Attorney Cowan is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, D.C. Bar Association and the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is currently licensed to practice law in Ohio and the District of Columbia, as well as the Federal Courts.
