Michael Eisner has been involved in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation for over ten years. Prior to joining Elk & Elk in April, 2006, he was a partner with a prestigious personal injury firm in Cleveland, Ohio.

Eisner has been lead counsel in several trials throughout the state of Ohio. His practice includes representing people who have been injured or killed as a result of motor vehicle crashes, animal attacks, dangerous workplaces, and hazardous conditions on others’ property.

Eisner graduated from Hobart College in 1990 with a Bachelor’s degree in political science. While in college, Michael interned in Washington D.C. for a prominent member of the Senate. He earned his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he was executive editor of the law review. Michael graduated summa cum laude in 1995.

He is licensed to practice law in Ohio, and in US District Court, Northern District of Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Ohio State Bar Association.

Eisner is an avid skier and golfer, and enjoys spending his spare time with his family.

Michael Eisner's Recent Settlements and Verdicts

8/09: $100K – Policy Limits - Subdermal hematoma with surgery and partial hearing loss following a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident.

7/09: $200K – Minor bite by a dog with laceration and scarring to left cheek.

7/09: $700K – Severe laceration and degloving wound to dominant arm with permanent limitations, deformity, and loss of use of arm.

5/09: $100K – Policy limits. Wrongful death when teenage driver crossed center line and struck client head-on.

5/09: $121,184 – Client was a passenger in car when commercial truck failed to yeild right of way. Client struck her head against the windshield resulting in severe laceration to her forehead. Client needed plastic surgery to repair the wound and was left with a small spot of thinning hair.

4/09: Verdict: $190,156.17 ($50,011 for plantiff with cartilage damage to right wrist and $140,145.17 for plantiff with aggravation of previous surgery to right foot resulting in new surgeries. Last offers were 17,500 and 50,000 respectively.

4/09: Verdict: $62K Plantiff suffered chronic soft-tissue injuries to his neck and back. He received extensive chiropractic treatment after an eight-month gap in treatment. Defense disputed the extent of injury and causations. Last offer before trial was $20K.

3/08: $1.75M – Settlement. Client was a passenger in a vehicle struck by a commercial vehicle from behind which forced client's car across the center line when it was then broadsided. Severe facial injuries, jaw injuries, shoulder injuries, and pelvic injuries.

$82,500.00 – Settlement. Neck Injury in Rear End Collision
Client, age 31, was driver her vehicle when another motorist failed to keep assured clear distance ahead, thereby causing a collision with the client. As a result of the accident, client suffered a painful neck strain.

$32,500.00 – Settlement. Head and Spine Injury in Failure to Yield
Client, age 24, was driving her vehicle and at a 4-way stop when another driver failed to yield to the 4-way intersection, therefore striking the client. As a result of the accident, client suffered a scalp laceration, concussion, spine strain, and a contusion to the hip.

$51,000.00 – Settlement. Broken Leg in Motorcycle Accident due to Ricocheting Vehicle
Client, age 48, was the driver of a stopped motorcycle when one vehicle hit another vehicle and ricocheted hitting client head on.  As a result, client suffered a fractured femur, torn tendons, leg burns, cuts and scrapes, and a swollen hand.

04/08: $100K – Fractured leg, strained shoulder and chest, lacerated forehead caused by collision
03/08: $1.75M – Collision causing fractured pelvis, vertebrae, ribs, clavicle, eye socket, punctured lung, facial lacerations
01/08: $186K – Crushed vertebra resulting from collision
08/07: $100K – Collision causing leg amputation, staples in head
07/07: $100K – Fractured right hip, pelvis and clavicle, dislocated left hip, concussion, lacerations to left leg, right foot and leg
07/07: $105K – Neck and back injuries, headaches due to collision
12/06: $100K – Severe head injury resulting from collision
10/06: $250K – Collision resulting in wrongful death
