Our product defect lawyers can find the facts and protect your rights.
Elk & Elk’s auto accident attorneys understand that, each time we get into a vehicle, we place our trust in the manufacturer’s quality control and safety standards. We also place a great deal of faith in the researchers and regulatory agencies governing the crashworthiness of the cars and trucks in which we travel and share Ohio’s and America’s roadways.
If you or someone close to you has been involved in an automobile crash in which defective manufacturing or lax oversight is suspected, especially a rollover, roof crush or other wreck in which the vehicle’s crashworthiness appears at issue. Give Elk & Elk’s auto accident attorneys a call. We’re available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year. Just dial 1-800-ELK-OHIO for your free, no-obligation case evaluation, or fill out our online case analysis form.
A study released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in January, 2011 shows although rollovers occur in only three percent of crashes, they’re behind about one-third of all motor vehicle occupant deaths. The NHTSA has taken steps to reduce these numbers, like establishing a rule that all vehicles manufactured after 2013 be equipped with standard electronic stability control (ESC), which has been shown to decrease the number of rollover and run-off-road wrecks, the Detroit News reports.
Elk & Elk’s product defect lawyers know that, despite ongoing advances in stability control and occupant safety, many older, less-stable and potentially dangerous cars and trucks remain on our roads. Considering how many miles Americans collectively drive in a year (nearly three trillion in 2010, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation) the chance you or a loved one may be exposed to an unsafe vehicle is considerably better than fair.
It’s Elk & Elk’s mission to use the knowledge we’ve gained through the years, along with the resources we’ve built to keep you and your family protected after a rollover wreck or any type of crash involving a defective vehicle or one proven to be of substandard crashworthiness. Our auto accident attorneys know the tricks defense lawyers use and insurance companies try to pull. We’ll do our best to see that you get fair treatment. But we aren’t afraid to take a case to trial if justice isn’t being offered. And we’ll to do it all at no up-front cost to you.
